This two part introductory bootcamp gives teens the opportunity to jump-start business and leadership training in a safe and welcoming environment where imagination has no limits. Over 18 weeks, teens will be empowered to explore their interests in business and problem-solving through our best-in-practice curriculum.

They’ll dive deep into the customer journey, and conduct market research to evolve the business idea they dreamed up in IDEATE into a minimum viable product to take to market and impact their community with support from guest speakers, skilled mentors, and subject matter experts who are accomplished leaders in their fields.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Teens will develop a business idea, earn a certificate in entrepreneurship and receive a $500 stipend!
Our virtual workshops will take place online Tuesdays and Thursdays evenings at 4:30-6:30 pm, and field trips will occur in-person two Saturdays each month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In The First 10 Weeks of Ideate, Students Will:

Explore the difference between an idea and an opportunity.

Learn what makes an opportunity feasible or viable.

Discover how to select the best business model for your idea.

Learn how to determine market fit.

Learn to pitch your idea to potential investors.
In The Next 8 weeks, During Activate, Students Will:

Design a prototype for their business idea

Create a marketing campaign to get the word out

Dive deeper into their business financials

Engage with guest speakers

Be supported by skilled mentors and subject matter experts
Throughout the IDEATE program, you’ll focus on developing a capstone project that brings your ideas to life. You’ll work on narrowing down a viable business idea, refining it into a concrete plan, and preparing to present it to your peers. This hands-on project is designed to sharpen your critical thinking skills —laying the foundation for your journey as an innovator.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP CERTIFICATE
Upon successful completion of the program, The Gray Matter Experience will award you an Entrepreneurship Certificate. This certificate is not just a credential—it's a testament to your hard work, dedication, and readiness to take on real-world business challenges.

Who can participate in Hustle Hacks?Hustle Hacks is for any young entrepreneur between the ages of 18-24 looking to enhance your existing business. You do not need to be currently enrolled in school to participate.

Are there any costs associated with the program?The costs of the Hustle Hacks program is based on the level you select. No, payment is not required until you are accepted into the program and financial assistance may be available based on need

When does programming take place?Hustle Hacks is an at-your-own-pace program, with self-guided online content in the form of 5-20 minute videos recorded by industry professionals. There will be four 90-minute virtual group sessions that take place with your cohort.

You’ll need to fill out an online form, which includes questions about your business, business goals, and why you’re interested in our programs. ​​For the video submission, we want you to shine and showcase who you are as an individual.
