UNTAPPED is The Gray Matter Experience's annual fundraiser
For one evening, Chicago's leaders, funders, and young founders share a room and decide together what the next chapter gets to build. This year, UNTAPPED is also our 10th anniversary celebration.
The program is brief, and there's a lot to see. You'll get the premiere of Built Here, our 10-year documentary and a preview of our State of Youth Entrepreneurship Report. Most importantly, you'll meet the young people who built all of it, who will be recognized and will speak in their own words.
Ten years is the record, but the next ten is the reason
In 2016, Britney Robbins started The Gray Matter Experience on one conviction: Chicago's young people don't need saving. They need access, capital, and someone willing to go first.
Ten years later, that conviction has a record.
An up-close look at our past inspiring and mission-driven event filled with delicious food, an open bar, live art painting by Ewrks and KALIEF, raffle prizes, and a Gray Matter Alumni showcase.
